I am Sabahan, and this is my first time trying Ngiu Chap. Haha. You can choose your carbohydrates for the Ngiu Chap. I eat vermicelli (mihun) but they serve thick mihun. Which i less like but the taste of the soup so nyum! The beef is tender. The soup is perfect with the stunning view. It makes me forget that i’m dissapointed that the NgiuChap have perut lembut in it. Haha. They told me only beef yang ada dalam Ngiuchap, rupanya ada perut! Ergh. But its okay! I suggest this kedai, buat portion untuk size Rm7. Barulah i can go banyak banyak kali. Hee. Rm13 for saiz biasa is good, sebab portion pun ngam. Tapi if ada Rm7 per bowl. Surely more local will go! Ok, now bad side. The staff throw rubbish at the back of this warung. Dont lah. Sayangi alam sekitar! Overall, will go again!
The Ngiu Chap was flavourful and almost tasted like chinese ngiu chap. I had the mee tuaran ngiu chap, food was good , I sat at the back of the shop during clear skies I believe can see the mountain top. Meals for 2 paxs = RM31.50 , I had plain water only.
Beef was really tender and well cooked. Broth flavourful. Went there early on a Sunday 9am, alot of ingredients not available yet including beef balls, Mee Tuaran Only downside was the environment, army of flies feasting with you so annoying .
I came here because of Google's good reviews, and they are true! The beef ngiu chap had a uniquely delicious taste. The nasi goreng had a wok hei flavor, and my husband approved of it. The staff was friendly and attentive. We asked many questions about the food, and they answered all of our curiosities politely. If the weather is clear, we might be able to see Mount Kinabalu from the table at the back of the restaurant. I will definitely visit again in the future.
It is like Chinese Beef noodle . You can choose to add lime or without. Both way taste good . The meat and tendon is nicely cook. Stall is small but nice view .
Delicious with a good portion. The soup was flavourful. The portion was really big for me however I managed to finish it. The beef was so tender and a bit sweet perhaps they did marinate it with some sweet sauce. Also got some meatballs. For me the price of RM15 with ample condiments were affordable. More people should know about this hidden gem in Kundasang.
Decent roadside NgiuChap place near to Anooh Coffee. The beef noodles is delicious dinner
Ordered a ngiu chap special with Tuaran mee (Rm15). It was super delicious. Beef soup is rich, all chap meats were very tender - melt in the mouth. Plus the restaurant has a stunning view of the mountain. There are many flies but it's forgiven for the amazing noodles. I regret only found this place on the last day of my stay. Highly recommended!!
